Clear Link Between "Global Commission on Drugs" and "Club of Rome"

So for anyone who hasn't heard of either organization, I'll fill you in:

"Global Commission on Drugs" are the folks who have released a report bandying about the failure of the "War on Drugs", and are moving to legalization et al.

"The Club of Rome" is a high-fallootin think tank started by David Rockafeller et. al (Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission), who are big on capping growth and sustainable resources.

Ernesto Zedillo, the former president of Mexico, and Fernando Henrique Cardoso (Chair of the Global Commission on Drugs) are both Honorary Members of the Club of Rome.

"Who cares?", one may ask themselves...... okay..... (read below)

Has anyone heard of the "Georgia Guidestones"?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones

These tablets read as follows:  (in 8 different languages, including English)

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  2. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
  3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
  4. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
  5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.[4]

Do we not have enough death already from alcohol and tobacco, that we need legalize decriminalize further poison that we know snuff out life?  Or does significant population reduction play into an agenda of world elites?

(again, read inscriptions 1 and 10 above)

In the Holy Bible ........

(and for anyone who wants to debate the Divinity of Jesus, Credibility of the Bible, existence of God etc...... you are foolish, and if I had the time, I would dismantle your ad hoc, self-idolizing, Satan following rhetorical crap...... but I'm simply here to warn people who care about their eternity, and will let you hurdle off the cliff to Hell if that is your intent............. don't waste my time, and the time of those who seek salvation!)

the prophet Daniel (Daniel Chapter 7:1-28) in the mid-6th century BC (he writes from an era spanning the Babylonian and Medo-Persian conquests of Israel), warns us of "Four Beasts" or four-world empires that would arise to oppress God's covenant people.

The first beast (Lion-hybrid), is identified as the Babylonian Empire which ruled from 597-539 BC; the second beast (Bear-hybrid), is identified as the Medo-Persian Empire which ruled from 539-331 BC; the third beast (Leopard-hybrid), is identified as the Greek Empire which ruled from 331-320 BC; and the fourth beast (the terrible beast, with 10 horns, that looked different from the rest, and trampled down the whole world........)

These 10 horns, represent 10 kings, 3 of whom are supplanted by a "prominent horn", who speaks proud words against the Most High God (Dan. 7:7-28)

Many commentators identify this fourth beast with the Roman Occupation of Israel in 63 BC, and its subsequent empire.

However, if one cross-references Daniel 9:26, we see that the Roman Destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in AD 70, was only indicative of the people of the ruler who "is to come".

This ruler, and the "prominent horn" of Daniel 7 is most commonly associated with the final end-time anti-christ.

Another point of dissimilarity with identifying Rome as the fourth beast, is seen in Daniel Chapter 2.  King Nebuchadnezzar (and yes history confirms he existed), had a vision of a Great Statue, which Daniel begins to interpret in Dan. 2:31.  The statue had the following features:

1)  A head of gold (identified with the Babylonian Kingdom)
2)  Chest and arms of silver (identified with the Medo-Persian Kingdom)
3)  Belly and Thighs of bronze (identified with the Greek Kingdom)
4)  Legs of Iron (should be identified with the Roman Empire)
5)  Feet and toes of Iron and Clay (divided kingdom, at which point God will establish his everlasting kingdom --- Dan 2:44-45)

Point 5 of the Vision of the Statue, and the fourth beast of Daniel's vision tie to the Club of Rome in a significant way.

In the formation portion of the web-page, note that an elaborate 10-zoned one world governance model was fully accepted by the Club of Rome in 1974.

With all the recent controversy surrounding failed Christian prophecy (Family Radio's "May 21" doomsday prediction), I understand how one can be very skeptical about plugging contemporary events into end-time scenarios.

However, this is not an instance in which I am advocating any hard dates.  I am more than humble enough to adhere to Jesus' truth in that "no one can know the hour"  (Matt. 24:36), and I make no attempt to try.

With that being said, Jesus, and all the Holy Prophets before him, let us know the "Signs of the Times", and Jesus himself commanded us to be aware (Matt. 16:2-3).  We don't have to fear making informed observations based on the data we have before us.  As the apostle Peter told us, "above all, you must understand that in the last days, scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires....." (2 Pe. 3:3-4)

Population culling and world governance are but two of the "Signs of the Times".

Stand Firm, Overcome, and God Bless

Pete
